SS 316 Forged Fitting

SS 316 / 316L Forged Fittings is also known from UNS SS31600/ UNS SS31603 standard. These are nickel-chromium-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel fittings. These alloy fittings resist good resistance to corrosion, whereas also resist to oxidizing and decreasing environments. The presence of molybdenum offers outstanding resistance to chloride pitting and general corrosion. The forged fittings exhibit tensile strength, stress to rupture and higher creep at elevated temperatures.
